Wireless spectrum is not a valuable resource, it’s a vital one.

For some organizations, wireless has become the “fourth utility;” a resource that’s as vital as power, water and heating/cooling. As the vitality of wireless spectrum has increased, it’s become clear that data demand is limitless; yet, this crucial resource is also a very finite (and increasingly scarce) one.

What is OnGo?

OnGo is uncompromised connectivity. It puts the power of your wireless network in your hands to empower and extend new business opportunities for your organization.

OnGo is uncompromised connectivity. It puts the power of your wireless network in your hands to empower and extend new business opportunities for your organization.

OnGo presents nearly limitless options for enhanced customizability, effectively allowing you to tailor your network to a specific set of needs, such as IIoT applications or In-Building wireless or connectivity in public spaces.

Why Does This Matter?

OnGo is paving the way to providing organizations like yours with access to uncompromised connectivity, at a fraction of the cost that has historically been associated with LTE, and deployment will mirror the simplicity we’ve all come to appreciate with Wi-Fi.

The three-tiered paradigm puts the power of the network in the hands of the user. This means that networks based in the CBRS band have nearly limitless options for enhanced customizability, effectively allowing users to tailor their network to a specific set of needs, such as IIoT or security.

How Does the OnGo Alliance Fit Into This?

To make this vision a reality, the 190+ member companies that make up OnGo Alliance – including founding companies Google, Qualcomm, Ruckus Networks, Intel, Federated Wireless, and Ericsson Inc. as well as the nation’s largest mobile carriers – have collaborated to evangelize LTE-based OnGo technology, use cases, and business opportunities.

In order to do this, the OnGo Alliance has developed a set of detailed specifications and an accompanying OnGo certification program. The certification program + specifications will enable the commercialization of the OnGo architecture and ensure seamless interoperability for all network components. The certification program will ensure all OnGo-Certified Devices reflect the performance and interoperability standards that have been set and promised to customers.
