CBRS Alliance President Dave Wright will be the Cable Operator Keynote speaker at this year’s event. North American cable operators have embraced mobile as a critical component of their expanding product bundles. In the U.S., Comcast, Charter, Cox, and Altice have launched MVNOs with either Verizon or Sprint/T-Mobile. But now, with the rollout of fifth-generation wireless technology, the big question is whether cablecos can take advantage of 5G, by locking in lucrative backhaul deals, or will lose out to the telcos harnessing this technology to deliver speedy, competitive in-home broadband services.
