OnGo Alliance Executive Director Alan Ewing will be presenting virtually at this year’s UPTIME in his session, Bringing Shared-Spectrum From the USA to the World! The event will be hosted at Villa Griffone, Italy, where Guglielmo Marconi made his first wireless transmission. Celebrating 125 years of years of Guglielmo Marconi’s invention of wireless communications, The theme this year is what needs to be done by the community to achieve “Cellular 2.0: A Million Private Networks” by the end of the decade. It will look at use cases from the USA as well as the rest of the world with presentations from OnGo Alliance members Boingo, Extenet and Motorola Solutions as well as European end-users such as Aeroport de Paris, Enel and Lufthansa. Mobile operators such as Vodafone and TIM and specialist players such as Axione, COLT and Edzcomm will also be presenting in the European sessions. The event is hosted by OnGo Alliance member Athonet.
