How Does the OnGo Alliance Fit Into This?
To make this vision a reality, the 190+ member companies that make up OnGo Alliance – including founding companies Google, Qualcomm, Ruckus Networks, Intel, Federated Wireless, and Ericsson Inc. as well as the nation’s largest mobile carriers – have collaborated to evangelize LTE-based OnGo technology, use cases, and business opportunities.
In order to do this, the OnGo Alliance has developed a set of detailed specifications and an accompanying OnGo certification program. The certification program + specifications will enable the commercialization of the OnGo architecture and ensure seamless interoperability for all network components. The certification program will ensure all OnGo-Certified Devices reflect the performance and interoperability standards that have been set and promised to customers.
